第31届国际农业经济学家大会（international conference of agricultural economists, icae）于2021年8月17-31日在线上举行，期间有36场组织专题研讨会（organized symposia）和26场特邀会议(invited session)，在特邀会议中，联合国粮食及农业组织maximo torero和康奈尔大学christopher b. barrett、世界银行talip kilic和alberto zezza、经济发展研究所uma lele等杰出学者发表重要演讲。
国际农业经济学家大会（icae）由国际农业经济学家协会（international association of agricultural economists，iaae）主办，是国际农经领域最重大的学术会议，每三年举办一次。协会的主要目标包括促进农业经济学科学领域的国际合作、交流等。
我院金融专业研究生吴俊标与林本喜副教授的合作论文“the impact of trust in government on rural residents’ participation in china's new rural pension scheme”以及国际贸易学研究生张晓格与林本喜副教授的合作论文“research on the effect of fdi on the domestic value-added of food processing and manufacturing enterprises' exports and its mechanism”一同入选第31届国际农业经济学家大会，两位同学分别主持session policies/governance/government 5和session trade 6并汇报论文。
